Purpose and Use of the Registry

Forever Free Pet Registry is provided to support the identification of pets and to assist in reuniting lost pets with their owners through microchip registration and related recovery services.

By using the Registry, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • The Registry is intended solely as an identification and recovery resource.
  • Information submitted to the Registry is provided by users and is not independently verified.
  • Forever Free Pet Registry is not responsible for false, inaccurate, or misleading information submitted by users.
  • Forever Free Pet Registry does not resolve or adjudicate disputes regarding pet ownership.
  • Forever Free Pet Registry reserves the right to update, correct, or transfer a pet's registration if reasonable proof of ownership is provided or if the listed owner cannot be reasonably contacted.

User Representations

By using the Registry, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age
  • You have the legal authority to agree to these Terms
  • You will use the Registry in compliance with these Terms and applicable laws
  • All information you submit is accurate to the best of your knowledge

No Warranties and Limitation of Liability

The Registry and all related services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

Forever Free Pet Registry makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding:

  • The accuracy, reliability, or completeness of information
  • The availability or performance of the Registry
  • The successful recovery or return of any lost pet

Use of the Registry is voluntary and at your own risk. Forever Free Pet Registry does not guarantee that a lost pet will be found or returned, nor that the Registry will be accessed by the individual or organization that finds a lost pet.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Forever Free Pet Registry shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Registry or its services.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Forever Free Pet Registry, its owners, officers, employees, agents, affiliates, successors, and assigns from any claims, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Your use of the Registry
  • Information you submit
  • Any violation of these Terms

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Registry shall be resolved exclusively through confidential binding arbitration conducted in Los Angeles County, California, under the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association.

The prevailing party in any arbitration may recover reasonable attorney's fees and costs. Arbitration proceedings may not be consolidated or conducted as a class action.

Nothing in this section limits the right of Forever Free Pet Registry to seek injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect its rights.

Class Action Waiver

All disputes must be brought on an individual basis. You agree that you will not participate in, or seek to bring, any dispute as a class action, collective action, or representative proceeding.

Communications and Information Use

Information collected through the Registry is used primarily to support pet identification and recovery efforts. From time to time, users may receive optional communications related to pet safety, care, or services. Communication preferences may be managed at any time.

Information may be shared with veterinarians, shelters, rescues, or animal control organizations when reasonably necessary to assist in reuniting a lost pet with its owner. Personal information is not sold to third parties.

Termination

Forever Free Pet Registry may suspend or terminate access to the Registry at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

Termination does not limit any other rights or remedies available under law. Forever Free Pet Registry is not liable for any loss or damages resulting from suspension or termination of access.

Changes to These Terms

Forever Free Pet Registry reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time by posting updated terms on the website. Changes are effective upon posting.

Your continued use of the Registry after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Forever Free Pet Registry regarding access to and use of the Registry and its services and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements or understandings.
